Mawlana Jalāl ud-Dīn Balkhi, known as Rūmī is the mystical Persian poet of the 13th century. Attempting to translate his poem is akin to climbing a peak beyond the top of the Everest. My aim is not equaling, or competing or surpassing the already existing translations by specialists. I aspire to offer my version, a rendition of  what I feel in my flesh, bone, heart and soul. Therefore, it is not a translation in stricto sensu, but my heartfelt expression. I will be translating my most resonant favorites from 3503 "ghazals" that comprise 'Divan e Shams'.
